The P1/P2 children had very special visitors in their room today...we were so delighted to welcome the Primary 3 and Primary 4 children and what a memorable morning it was. The P3/P4 children read stories to our Primary 1's and 2's, it was a delight to watch the P3's and P4's show our younger children the various parts of a book, how to hold a book correctly and of course how to read a book with lovely expression etc. Everyone had a brilliant time and today reminds us of the importance of installing a love of reading within our children especially the youngest children in our school! A big ' Thank You' to Miss McCourt for arranging this lovely reading session today. The P1-P4 children rounded up their day with a lovely 'Tea Party' in the hall, thank you to our fantastic P7's and Linda for all of their help.
