Today in Primary 7, our children were reading through the famous poem by Alfred Noyes called 'The Highwayman'. The children worked together using I-Pads to research some of the grammatical features of this poem as well as the figurative language skills that Alfred Noyes used. They started to create some character profiles of The Highwayman, Bess the Landlord's daughter and Tim the Ostler. The children will then be creating poems on their chosen character next week!
