Today our Primary 5 children were looking at telling the time in Numeracy. The children were looking at how to read time on both analogue and digital clocks and practicing their key vocabulary like o'clock, half past, quarter past, quarter to, hour, minute, long hand, short hand.
We talked about the importance of being able to read a clock and tell the time as it is an important life skill. As a class, we looked at lots of different time tables and discussed how to read them.
The children really enjoyed this interactive activity as we celebrate Numeracy Week.
