The Primary 6 and Primary 7 children have been working so hard throughout our Summer School, it has been such a pleasure seeing them so happy and content in our lovely, safe school environment. Our curriculum learning in Primary 6 and Primary 7 has been based around the theme of 'Sports' and in particular, 'The Olympics'. The children participated in some music lessons with Mrs Gorman where they got the opportunity to listen to and analyse some catchy and familiar Sporting theme tunes! During Healthy Kidz, the children took part in some sporting competitions such as, ‘The Long Jump’, ‘Sprinting Races’ and ‘Balancing’ aswell as carrying out a super experiment where they had to determine what type of sports ball would bounce the highest. In Arts and Crafts, the children created their own Olympic torches with Regina and Miss Devine- what talented children we have! Thank you to all our amazing children for making this a truly memorable two weeks at Summer School!
