Following Primary 2 and 3's beautiful assembly this morning, we invited parents, grandparents, families and our wider community into our school for a lovely morning making St. Brigid's crosses. It was amazing to see the skill of some of our children as they expertly weaved the rushes together to make beautiful crosses! As well as this, we had lots of children develop their skill of cross-making even further and became experts by the end of the day! They definitely gave some of the adults a run for their money!
Thank you to everyone for coming - it was a wonderful way to spend the day celebrating tomorrow's St. Brigid's feast day.
