Today our school visited the staff at the Speedwell Trust at Parkanaur for a wellness day! We spent time talking about different animals that we would find in the wilderness and the forest like foxes, rabbits and hedgehogs!! We discussed where they might live, what they might eat and what times of the day we could see them!
Our boys and girls then ventured off into the forest for a nature walk, spotting lots of different trees and finding out a little more about each of them! We even got to see some Deer!! We then finished off with a Mini-beast hunt in teams!!
Everyone had such a brilliant day and we want to thank everyone at Speedwell for making us feel so welcome, especially Stephen and Padraig!! We can’t wait to visit you again!!
