Our beautiful weather allowed us to bring our activity-based learning outdoors today.
In Numeracy, we are beginning to look at position and direction. With a partner, we gave/and followed directions to get from one cone to another. To guide our partner along, we used language such as forwards, backwards, left, right, clockwise, anticlockwise etc. We drew compasses and made up rhymes to help us remember the position of North, South, East and West.
We also looked for mini beasts around our school with Molly. Using checklists we ticked off what we discovered and shared our findings with our peers. We continued our learning in the classroom by researching facts on mini beasts using our iPads.
