We are halfway through our second week of Summer School and our boys and girls really have been working hard. In Miss Rafferty and Stephanie's class, they have been working very hard with learning about all things space. On the 51st Anniversary of Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin and Michael Collins landing on the moon, our boys and girls were able to watch lives videos of Apollo 11 taking off at NASA...it was amazing!
They created AMAZING rockets and we even attempted to carry out an experiment with Diet Coke and Mentos to see if they could get their rockets to fly. It was great fun!
Our children created their own space poem using lots of amazing Similes and Metaphors.
We are looking forward to our final two days of Summer School!
