Our Local Area
Term 2 has been a busy term for the P3/4 children. The children have been looking closely at their local area. The children went on a 'wellie walk' and identified lots of animals and their habitats as well as various natural and man made materials. The children really enjoyed observing the local 'bird life'. In class, the children created some of the birds that we saw on our school trip at the Lough Neagh Centre.
The children have really excelled in their science learning this term also. We took pictures of our favourite science experiment and pinned them on our Science Wall Display. The children were intrigued to learn all about 'floating and sinking'. The children will be more careful next time drinking water that looks completely normal......... well done P3/4 on your excellent investigative skills!!
