This week in Primary 5, we took part in some class role play! Part of our Numeracy focus this week was to look at Money! We turned our classroom into a Café and had some fun creating our food and drinks menu and then thinking of prices! The boys and girls took turns being the customer and the server and had to take orders, serve food and then calculate the customers bill at the end. The children also were given the opportunity to calculate the change that would need to be given to the customer when they were paying...this really tested our numeracy skills but as always our boys and girls in P.5 are smart cookies and it was no bother for them!
