Our P6/7 class had a wonderful morning with Rosalind Lowry, a fantastic local artist who is working with us to design a mural for the Washingbay Centre. We were absolutely honoured to be chosen as the school for Rosalind to work with on this! As you can see from all of our photos, we had a delightful day in the sunshine.
We had a brilliant morning designing our mural around the themes of our local area, such as Lough Neagh, our super sporting culture and other agricultural aspects such as fishing and farming.
We cannot wait to see what is in store over the next few weeks, as we prepare to join Rosalind down at the Washingbay Centre to complete this amazing project.
