This year, the boys and girls in Key Stage 2 are taking part in ‘KPMG Childten’s Books Ireland Awards-Junior Juries.’ This is a reading programme which encourages reading for pleasure and appreciation for a wide variety of books.
Today, primary 4 and 5 started looking at one of the chosen books ‘A Dictionary Story.’ We each designed our book covers and we had great discussion about the characters and what this book could be about, by only looking at the front cover!
We look forward to seeing what happens in this story, as well as getting the opportunity to read and complete lots of activities on some more exciting books!
