Yesterday we held our whole school Halloween safety assembly with Mrs Gorman. We discussed the importance of keeping safe around Halloween, especially around fireworks and bonfires. We talked about all the ways to keep safe, including what to do when we are holding sparklers and making sure we trick or treat with an adult. Mrs O’Hanlon then displayed her amazing artistic talent of making a witch out of a broom, with our brilliant Primary 6 and Primary 7 helpers. We were truly spooked by the witch, and enjoyed singing some Halloween songs too as she flew around the school hall! What great fun we had.
