Our Primary 6/7 children took part in a lovely lesson on the importance of kindness and generosity this afternoon as part of our Grow In Love programme. We used Jesus’ parables to help us understand the key values of the Kingdom of God, in particular looking at the generosity of the vineyard owner in the Parable of the Workers in the Vineyard. We used our pristine acting skills on our own modern-day take on the parable, to convey the feelings of each worker as they stood and begged to be hired and how they felt as they received their wages, discussing the message of giving and hope. We thought this was a very poignant message as we begin the countdown to Christmas, a time when the message of hope can be lost. Well done P6/7!
