This morning in P5/6, we had a visit from local fireman Gerard. The children learned all about the different ways of how to prevent a fire in the home as well as the importance of having a fire alarm. Our classroom assistant Emir also did a fantastic job, getting into the firefighter uniform. She did this within 30 seconds-showing us how quickly firefighters have to get ready for their job. We learned so much about the important jobs our emergency services provide. Thank-you very much Gerard for taking time to come out to Holy Family PS.
