Today in Holy Family P.S, we kicked off our morning with homemade pancakes. Our children in primary 3&4 have been learning about instructional writing and were encouraged to use “Bossy Verbs” to follow instructions on how to make pancakes. Courtesy of the brilliant Kathleen, Mrs Kennedy and Miss Quinn the children put their ingredients together and produced the most delicious pancakes. Having made lots of scrumptious pancakes and in advance of Pancake Tuesday everyone in our school joined in with some pancake tasting adding different toppings etc. A special word of thanks to all those who helped.
