Distance Learning in Primary One and Primary Two
Our Primary One and Primary Two children have been working like troopers recently- completing their Distance Learning Tasks to an exceptionally high standard! In Numeracy, Primary One have blown me away with their understanding of a range of different concepts within the Curriculum, including counting skills, number ordering, their ability to identify smallest and largest numbers, finding one more and one less of given number, shape properties and matching coins to the correct amount- Busy Bees is an understatement! Primary Two have been working equally hard at their Maths tasks too, they have been counting in 2’s, 5’s and 10’, doubling and halving numbers, adding and subtracting numbers using a number line and completing lots of Data Handling tasks, as well as much much more! Our Literacy tasks have been based around our topic in ‘World Around Us’ at the minute which is all about ‘Summer’- it’s been lovely receiving pictures of the children recognising the signs of Summer and embracing the spell of beautiful weather that we had! We’ve been making some super cool caterpillars in our Arts and Crafts too this week! Well Done boys and girls!
