The Primary 6 and 7 pupils have been working really hard on expanding their knowledge of decimal numbers in Numeracy; they have been working with tenths, hundredths and thousandths to show the differences between whole numbers and decimal numbers.
We decided to combine our knowledge of measurement and decimals and complete some outdoor learning today. We used our P.E. skills to complete long jumps, high jumps and sprints. We measured the distances using measuring tapes in groups and then converted them to decimal numbers. We all had brilliant fun using our skills and applying them in real-life contexts!
