Children's Mental Health Week 2021
This week, in all classes, we have been discussing Children's Mental Health Week and ways that we can help our own mental health when we are finding things tough.
We have been using the BBC Bitesize website for lots of fantastic activities to advocate good mental health, such as dancing, singing and role-play.
This morning, during our Google Meet session, our P6/7 boys and girls had a long chat about the importance of looking after our own mental health. We discussed the importance of 'brain breaks', especially during difficult times like these. We used Jamboard to have a live discussion of things that we do to take time out.
We came up with these superb suggestions of ways that we can help our mental health in positive ways - I'm sure you'll agree they are fantastic suggestions!! Well done Primary 6 and 7 - such mature outlooks on life.
