As part of our celebration of Catholic Schools Week, the Primary 2 and 3 children have been learning about the Patron Saints of our local Parish Churches. In particular, we looked at Saint Brigid and the story of her cloak. Rachael very kindly assisted the children in creating a fantastic display on St Brigid’s cloak in preparation for our upcoming Class Assembly.
The children have looked closely at the three Churches and their special memories of times when they were there. We remembered happy occasions such as Baptisms, Wedding and Sacramental celebrations. We also chatted about all the times in the Church that we shared with those who are now living with God in Heaven.
