This week in Primary 3/4 we have been looking at various real life examples of instructional writing. With a partner, the children also wrote their very own set of instructions on 'how to make toast'. Our paired learning gave us the opportunity to share ideas and work together as a team, ensuring we included all the unique features of instructional writing. This morning we used our very own instructions to make toast, accompanied by our lovely classroom assistant Kathleen. Kathleen got the kettle on and we enjoyed a warm cuppa with our toast! A productive week of learning and a lovely morning to bring our learning alive!
