This week our Primary 1 and 2 children were having a look at 2d shapes!
We started by listing all of the shapes we might already know and then discussed their properties, talking about how many sides and corners each shape had!
The children got into teams to try and beat the clock to find as many objects around our classroom that represented the 2d shapes on the board!!
The boys and girls found some really imaginative and unusual objects and then presented what they found to the rest of the class!! We can’t wait to continue learning all about 2d and 3d shapes!!
