Today, the children in P5 and P6 had a fantastic time at Armagh Navan Centre and Fort. We took part in the Ancient Egyptian programme, which linked so well to our learning back in the classroom. Here, we completed a number of exciting activities, including acting out pieces of drama, which informed us of the timeline of Egyptian history as well as about famous Egyptian Gods. We had a really fun time, taking part in the mummification process, thinking about each step so carefully as well as having the opportunity to meet and learn from some Egyptians. We all ended the day putting our art skills to great use, designing our own Egyptian head pieces. Check out all the fun we had!!
